A lot of branches of the military, full time, guard and reservists, are still in need of certain health-care professionals. There are many options. You can research on line or find a recruiter. We especially need Physicians and Dentists. Just a thought. Our troops deserve the best care possible.

I have been busy. Our primary mission in the Guard now is to keep the soldiers medically and dentally ready. With over 10,000 soldiers in Florida we are kept busy. Many days we work over 12 hours. In the military failure is not an option. It is not about you, but the mission. I wish everyone would learn some lessons from military training. It is always a priviledge to serve with those who are committed to our country.
I hope everyone is enjoying their summer.
Pray for all of our soldiers who are away from home. Study history or we are doomed to repeat it.

It was 2 years ago I was in Iraq for the Holidays. I wish all of the soldiers who are deployed a safe season and they should all be in our prayers and thoughts. Freedom is not free. MAJ B

Every-time I’m on drill I am humbled by the men and women who serve our country, with the sense of duty and self sacrifice they show. Thank the soldiers when you can. Remember; Some gave all, and all gave some. Pray for all of our military, especially the ones deployed, away from their home and loved ones. If you know someone deployed, see if their family needs help. It can be as rough on them as their deployed family member. Have a great Holiday Season, and think of those who can’t celebrate at home due to their service. MAJ B

I wonder what others think when politicians redefine things for their own good. What do you think about the fact that we now have 50,000 non-combat troops in Iraq? Over night we redefine things. Our media dosen’t question it. What are your thoughts? MAJ B
Don’t forget to vote!! Do your homework. Wish I could tell you to read the paper or watch the news. Have good open discussions with others.

Today is a big primary election. Make your voices heard. Do your homework and get out and vote. Our soldiers fight so others can have the right to vote.

A lot of people running for office talk about their military service but seem to have forgotten the military values they were taught!!!

We are the land of the free, because of the brave. Your military make great sacrifices. You can be proud of our volunteer service members. Be proud of our country. I have been deeply disappointed with the media lately. I see a lot of reporting that is really editorializing. I would really like to know what others think about this.

It’s been a while since I wrote. The Guard has us busy getting others ready for deployment. We do a lot of exams on drill weekends. The soldiers are in good spirits. This is a volunteer Army and they know why they joined and what they are getting into. Support your troops. The young men and women who sacrifice a lot can use your support. We need to keep politics out of this. Do what you can to help the troops and their families. Deployment can be quite a burden. I want to thank all in my unit who work so hard and tirelesly on drill weekends, sometimes 13 hours or more. Enjoy the summer. MAJ B
